Case exemplars
Case exemplars (Appendix 6) is where you write de-identified clinical cases that show your advanced practice and decision-making.
- Remove anything that could identify a patient. The page says exemplars must be fully de-identified.
- Show your clinical reasoning.
- Map each case to the NMBA nurse practitioner standards for practice.
- Keep these different from cases you used in your Master's program.
Portfolio records
Portfolio records pulls your evidence together. Its tabs are:

The page shares these reminders for the portfolio you submit:
- Submit one consolidated portfolio.
- Use single-sided printing, separated into labelled appendices.
- Use certified copies, not originals.
- Bind with a bulldog clip only.
- Remote certification by video call is not accepted by Ahpra.
