How Jev gives feedback

Jev is the AI model that helps give you practice feedback in the Sim.

What Jev looks at

During a case, Jev checks whether the things a case expects you to cover have come up in your own words. It looks at what you typed. It does not look at the patient's replies.

When Jev is not sure

Jev gives an answer and how confident it is. If it is not confident, EndorseMe does not treat that as a yes. The item appears under Not sure — check this yourself. Review those items against the case yourself.

If Jev cannot be reached, the Sim falls back to a simpler keyword check instead of stopping.

What Jev does not do

  • It does not decide whether you are ready for endorsement.
  • It does not replace your supervisor, your university or a clinician's judgement.
  • It can be wrong. Treat feedback as a prompt for your own thinking.
  • Your feedback is written in words, with short quotes from what you said.
